Trailer: “Dark Waters” (2019)

Focus Features has premiered the trailer for “Dark Waters,” the new true-story drama feature which marks the return of celebrated “Carol” and “Far from Heaven” director Todd Haynes.

Mark Ruffalo stars as Robert Bilott, a whistle-blowing defense lawyer who takes on the DuPont chemical company to expose a horrifying environmental secret.

Set for a limited release on November 22nd, the tone is akin to “Spotlight” and “All the President’s Men” and the film also stars Anne Hathaway, Tim Robbins, Victor Garber, Bill Pullman, Mare Winningham, and William Jackson Harper.
