Trailer: “Killers of the Flower Moon” (2023)
The first official trailer has finally been released for Martin Scorsese’s upcoming period drama “Killers of the Flower Moon” which has its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival this week.
The story unfolds in 1920s Oklahoma and depicts the serial murder of members of the oil-wealthy Osage Nation – a string of brutal crimes that came to be known as the ‘Reign of Terror’.
The $200 million-budgeted film stars the likes of Leonardo DiCaprio, Robert De Niro, Lily Gladstone, Jesse Plemons, John Lithgow, Brendan Fraser, Cara Jade Myers, JaNae Collins, Jillian Dion, Tatanka Means, William Belleau, Scott Shepherd and Tantoo Cardinal.
Boasting a massive 206 minute runtime, the movie is based on David Grann’s best-selling book and written for the screen by Eric Roth and Scorsese. Scorsese, DiCaprio, Dan Friedkin, Bradley Thomas and Daniel Lupi produce.
“Killers of the Flower Moon” will get a limited theatrical release through Paramount Pictures on October 6th before opening wide on October 20th ahead of streaming later on Apple TV+.
