Universal Pictures has premiered the official trailer for Christopher Nolan’s big-budget biopic “Oppenheimer”.
Nolan’s story is based on Kai Bird and Martin Sherwin’s Pulitzer Prize-winning biography “American Prometheus” with both authors credited as writers along with Nolan himself.

“Oppenheimer” boasts a stacked cast including Emily Blunt as his wife, biologist and botanist Katherine ‘Kitty’; Matt Damon as Manhattan Project director General Leslie Groves Jr.; Robert Downey, Jr as U.S. Atomic Energy Commission founder Lewis Strauss; Florence Pugh plays psychiatrist Jean Tatlock; Benny Safdie as theoretical physicist Edward Teller; and Josh Hartnett as pioneering nuclear scientist Ernest Lawrence.
Kenneth Branagh, Rami Malek, Michael Angarano, Dane DeHaan, Dylan Arnold, David Krumholtz, Jason Clarke, Jack Quaid, Josh Peck, Alex Wolff, Alden Ehrenreich, Matthew Modine and Gary Oldman co-star.
The film will be released exclusively in cinemas on July 21st with 70mm, 35mm and IMAX print engagements.
