Trailer: Marvel Studios’ “The Marvels”

This superhero team-up film serves as a sequel to “Captain Marvel” whilst also incorporating characters from “WandaVision” and “Ms. Marvel”.

In the film, Carol Danvers (Brie Larson) aka Captain Marvel has reclaimed her identity from the tyrannical Kree and taken revenge on the Supreme Intelligence. But unintended consequences see Carol shouldering the burden of a destabilized universe.

When her duties send her to an anomalous wormhole linked to a Kree revolutionary, her powers become entangled with that of Jersey City super-fan Kamala Khan (Iman Vellani), aka Ms. Marvel, and Carol’s estranged niece, now S.A.B.E.R. astronaut Captain Monica Rambeau (Teyonah Parris).

The movie features Zawe Ashton as a villain and Park Seo-joon. Goose, the Flerken who resembles a cat, returns from “Captain Marvel”. Nia DaCosta (“Candyman,” “Little Woods”) helms the film from a script she co-wrote with Megan McDonnell, Elissa Karasik, and Zeb Wells.

“The Marvels” will mark the third and final Marvel film release of the year and is due out in cinemas on November 10th.
