Trailer: “Ad Astra” (2019)

20th Century Fox has premiered the second trailer for “The Lost City of Z” director James Gray’s long-awaited new sci-fi epic “Ad Astra” which opens September 20th.

Gray and Ethan Gross (“Fringe”) penned the script in which astronaut Roy McBride (Brad Pitt) travels to the outer edges of the solar system to find his missing father (Tommy Lee Jones) and unravel a mystery that threatens the survival of humans on Earth.

Ruth Negga, Liv Tyler, Donald Sutherland, Jamie Kennedy, Kimberly Elise, John Ortiz and John Finn co-star in the film which Pitt, Gray, Marc Butan, Anthony Katagas, and Rodrigo Teixeira produce.
