Trailer: “House of the Dragon: Season Two” (2024)

HBO has released duelling trailers for the highly anticipated second season of its “Game of Thrones” spin-off series “House of the Dragon”.

Based on George R.R. Martin’s “Fire & Blood,” the series chronicles the rise and the downfall of the Targaryens – the only family of dragonlords to survive the Doom of Valyria. Events unfold three centuries prior to “Game of Thrones”.

The series stars Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Emma D’Arcy, Rhys Ifans, Steve Toussaint, Eve Best, Sonoya Mizuno, Graham McTavish, Jefferson Hall, David Horovitch, Matthew Needham, Bill Patterson, Gavin Spokes, Wil Johnson, John Macmillan, Savannah Steyn, and Theo Nate.

Gayle Rankin, Russell Beale, Freddie Fox, and Abubakar Salim join the cast for the second season.
