Trailer: “The Last of Us: Episode Eight” (2023)

The airing of the seventh episode of HBO’s “The Last of Us” brought with it a mostly faithful adaptation of ‘Left Behind,’ the downloadable extra content for the original game that serves as something of a standalone chapter in the story.

Exploring the backstory of Ellie’s character and her relationship with the previously mentioned ‘Riley’ (played by guest star Storm Reid), a making-of featurette about the episode was also released and can be seen below.

HBO has premiered the trailer for the eighth episode – the second-last episode of the season – which will adapt the entire Winter/Lakeside Resort section of the game. With it comes some visible changes to events including a more in-depth look at David’s ‘community’ from the game.
